Power Automate Get Items Only Returns 100 Items: How to Get All of Them
Your flow works in testing, then misses items once the list grows. The reason is almost always that 'Get items' only returns the first 100 items unless you tell it otherwise.
Set Top Count
Open 'Get items', show advanced options and set Top Count. A single request can return up to 5,000 items.
Turn on pagination for more
For larger lists, open the action's Settings, switch Pagination on and set a threshold above the number of items you expect. Power Automate then fetches page after page for you. The maximum depends on your licence.
Better: only fetch what you need
Use Filter Query so SharePoint returns only the relevant rows, for example:
- Status eq 'Pending'
- Amount gt 1000
- Created ge '2026-01-01'
Use the column's internal name, which you can see in the URL when you edit the column in list settings. For lists over 5,000 items, filter on an indexed column, or SharePoint may refuse the query.
